Asta Leadership
Meet the Founder
"Excellence in roofing is not learned overnight,
it is built over generations."

I know what it’s like to mix cement by hand, shovel by shovel, bag by bag, knowing exactly how much sand, cement, and oxide it takes to get the right mix for hips, ridges, and eave closures.

I know what it’s like to carry heavy buckets of cement around a house, feeling the weight in your shoulders and legs by the end of the day. I’ve laid tile roofs using both screw-down systems and foam systems, one-part and two-part applications, understanding firsthand that precision in the mix and the install is what separates a roof that lasts from one that doesn’t.
I know what it’s like to be covered in fiberglass after a long day of shingle tear-offs, baking under the South Florida sun. And I know the feeling at the end of a job, stepping back, looking at the finished roof, and taking real pride in the quality of work you provided for someone’s home.

As a second-generation roofer, I was introduced to the craft at a young age by my father, who instilled in me a deep respect for precision, integrity, and workmanship. Roofing was never just a job; it was a discipline, one that demanded attention to detail, accountability, and pride in every finished roof.
I didn’t learn roofing from behind a desk, I learned it by doing the work. I know what it’s like to fill a wheelbarrow with broken tile during cleanup, push it across a job site, and run it up a narrow 2x4 into a dumpster hoping you don’t slip, only to climb back down and do it again.

I also know what it’s like to leave everything behind when people need help. After hurricanes hit Mississippi and Louisiana, I lived out of my truck for weeks, working FEMA blue roof projects. Days started before sunrise and ended after dark. Showers were makeshift plywood stalls with cold water. The work was exhausting, but the mission was simple, help as many families as possible protect their homes.

There were times when the job meant leaving home in the dark and coming back in the dark, sacrificing time with family because that’s what the work required. That experience shaped who I am and how I lead today.
At Asta Roofing Solutions, that hands-on background drives everything we do. I don’t guess, I don’t cut corners, and I don’t ask crews to do anything I haven’t done myself.
Every roof is built with the same mindset I learned on the job: work hard, do it right, and take pride in the result.
That’s the difference experience makes.
